# Branding & Template Setup

> Set up your clinic logo, Instagram handle, and export template once — it applies to every export automatically.

## Overview

Symetri applies your clinic's branding — logo, Instagram handle, colors, and layout — automatically to every export. Set it up once and it appears on everything you export, including batch exports.

## Uploading Your Logo

Go to **Settings → Clinic Branding** to manage all branding settings.

### Logo File Requirements

| Requirement  | Recommendation                                          |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| File type    | PNG with transparent background                         |
| Color        | White or light-colored logos show on all templates      |
| Aspect ratio | Horizontal (landscape) logos fit most placements better |
| Resolution   | At least 500px wide                                     |

<Tip>A PNG with transparent background blends cleanly on top of photo content. A white-background JPEG creates a visible white box on your exports.</Tip>

### Uploading Steps

1. Tap **Upload Logo**.
2. Select the logo file from your Photos library.
3. The logo immediately appears in the **live preview** — you'll see it on a sample export card.

### Logo Size & Position

**Logo Size slider** — scales the logo up or down. The live preview updates in real time as you drag.

**Vertical Position slider** — moves the logo up or down within its placement zone.

**Placement selector:**

* **Top / Bottom** — which half of the image the logo sits in
* **Left / Center / Right** — horizontal alignment

<Tip>Check your logo placement in all three export formats (4:5, 9:16, 1:1) before batch exporting. A logo positioned for 4:5 may be awkward or clipped in 9:16.</Tip>

## Instagram Handle

1. In Settings → Clinic Branding, tap **Instagram Handle**.
2. Enter your clinic handle — include or omit the `@`, Symetri handles both.
3. The handle appears below the logo on every export.

**Controlling visibility:** In the Template panel of the editor, toggle the handle on or off per export. Turn it off for clinical records, leave it on for social media.

## Template Styles

## Comparison Layouts

<Note>For Eyes and Lips treatment profiles, Symetri automatically uses a Top/Bottom (over/under) layout because side-by-side is too narrow for facial close-ups.</Note>

## Export Formats

You can select multiple formats in a single export — Symetri generates all selected sizes at once.

## Default Background Color

When background removal is enabled, set your preferred default replacement color so every new case starts consistently.

**Setting the default:** Settings → Clinic Branding → Default Background Color

| White      | Clean clinical look                       |
| Light Gray | Softer, flattering in most lighting       |
| Gray       | Neutral, works across all skin tones      |
| Dark Gray  | Dramatic, good for social media close-ups |
| Black      | High contrast, bold social media look     |

## Live Preview

Every branding change — logo size, position, handle visibility, template style — shows immediately in the live preview card in the editor's Template panel.

To see the full export preview:

1. In the editor, tap the **Preview** mode button (top of editor).
2. This shows exactly what the exported still image will look like, including logo, handle, and template.

## Common Branding Mistakes

    The logo file has a white background. Re-export the logo from your designer as a PNG with transparent background.

    Source logo is too small (under 300px wide). Get a higher-resolution version from your designer.

  <Accordion title="Logo is cut off in Story format">
    A logo placed low in 4:5 may be near the edge in 9:16. Adjust the vertical position slider or move to a more central placement.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Handle appears on clinical records">
    Toggle the Instagram handle off in the Template panel before exporting clinical documentation.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Branding looks different in batch vs. single export">
    Single export uses the editor's current Template settings. Batch export uses Settings. Make sure they match.
